Bus Drivers
At Cassidy Transportation, we recognize that the safety and comfort of your children is your primary concern. We employ over 100 highly qualified drivers that have passed a rigorous screening and certification process prior to employment. In fact, all of our drivers have been trained in transporting special needs children.
Each and every one of our drivers possess a CDL (commercial driver’s license) with a “passenger” and “school bus” endorsement. You are more than welcome to ask to see any one of our driver’s licenses. In fact, we welcome it. The top right hand corner of the license, next to “class,” should have a letter “A, B or C.” Next to “endor,” there must be the letters “PS.” These endorsements tell you the driver is fingerprinted on both the state and federal level every four years, has a full medical physical every two years, submits to random drug and alcohol testing every year, has their driving abstract submitted to the state every year, and takes driver safety classes. Everyone who drives a school bus must have these endorsements. If they do not, they should not be transporting your child.
You can rest comfortably knowing that our drivers not only have the correct certifications, but also exemplify our core values of providing caring, careful, and compassionate transportation.
